Socks is our psycho-beagle. Although she looks a little a like a lab, she has some beagle and some border collie in her features, and her temperament is a mixture of the two.
Socks was adopted by the Cohen's when she was 3 months old, in December, 1994. We were her third home; the previous two owners had returned her to the Humane Society as too hyper.
Although the Humane Society advertised her as a Lab-X she was so tiny as a puppy that I wondered whether this was actually short for lab experiment. Socksie has mellowed out as she gets older, although she can still be counted on occasionally to race around the house running laps in a figure eight pattern.
Socksies favourite hobbies include: looking out from her perch in the living room, eating dinner at the kitchen table, chasing rabbits and cats in the yard, sleeping, and wrestling with Jasper.
